I started writing this song in a Peter Himmelman class. If you don't know him, get to know him. The assignment was to write a song in 45min, the topic was 'limitations.' The first thought that came to my mind was a bird living it's life in cage. What if you couldn't do what you were born to do...

It's overrated, plus I'm scared of heights

In the house where I live
Maggie is the kid
But she's the adult as far as I can tell
Cause every night, her parents fight
As if she can't hear them yell
She stares at her plate
